Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza/Grinder!
This turned out absolutely freaking amazing! No joke! Here goes!
Ingredients:
Crust:
- 1 1/2 cup shredded thick cut mozzarella
- 1 1/2 cup shredded thick cut cheddar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Toppings:
- 4 slices of american cheese
- 1 lb ground beef
- 7 slices of thick cut bacon, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Directions:
mix eggs and seasonings in bowl and set aside, but mix well to really get those seasonings mixed in!
Meanwhile start the bacon by cutting it up into smaller pieces (optional, but easier to top) and preheat oven to 450 degrees. Add mozzarella, cheddar and parmesan to the eggs and mix. I use non stick foil and plop it on there and spread it out as far as you can and thinner. You can shape to a rectangle, that’s what I do. about 15 inches long.

Bake the cheese and egg mixture for 12 minutes. It will get golden. While that’s baking the bacon should be close to done, if not finish it and then take it out of the grease, don’t drain it. just remove bacon, add the beef to the bacon grease and cook it, Season with garlic powder and onion powder.
Once everything is cooked and all the grease is now drained completely off of the cooked meat. You will top your pizza crust with beef and then bacon, I cut up the american cheese and placed it all over the top, put in oven and heated it for a few more minutes, just enough to actually make the american cheese melt. Cut into 6 pieces and serve. Mine was simple a slice with mayo, mustard and around a tsp of reduced sugar heinz ketchup. I topped my husbands with mayo, mustard, onions, lettuce and tomato and plopped another on top if it and cut it in half. He loved it!
