THESE ARE A FEW WAYS I DRIVE TRAFFIC TO MY BLOG!
Something I have a learned a little bit about is driving traffic to your blog. Some say oh I don’t need to worry about that, my posts are good and I will get followers. True, you probably will, but it’s going to take longer! So read these three steps and make sure to do those and your blog should start to grow a little bit more!
- Include Photos, Keywords, Better Titles: Another way is to make sure you have a Great Title! Titles are the first thing a potential reader will see via a search engine or social media shares. Keywords are another important part of driving traffic, it helps to make your post SEO Friendly too. Adding photos that also have the keyword in the title helps, but just having an eye-catching photo will help a lot as well!
- Sharing: One of the most important things is to make sure you have social media buttons on your blog! This is crucial, because if someone likes your post and looks for buttons and cannot find them well then your blog won’t be shared! Sharing is a good part of the battle when your blog gets shared you never know what the reach is for your fans and followers. If one of your fans shares you post via Twitter and has 96,323 followers, your chances of several of their followers visiting your blog are good! Same for other social media too. I make it a point to have Google+, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and Pinterest. I do have others, but they’re in a little more drop down menu.
- Host a Cash Giveaway: I know we don’t all have money to host cash giveaways. But if you host small ones, it’s just like buying traffic. Except these visitors want to enter into giveaways and will end up subscribing and reading more posts. I do notice a decent increase in traffic when I host cash giveaways. Right now I’m hosting one for October and overnight my traffic has jumped up! So hosting a giveaway could really be a benefit even if it’s just $10 via PayPal! That works!
I hope these three ways to drive traffic to your blog will help you along your blogging journey. Thanks for reading!
