There is nothing better than a chocolate piece of cake, right? Yes! I love it! So, I was feeling like I needed something sweet and decided to go with a low carb cake. I did everything on camera, no recipe. I went on that famous ole oopsie bread. 🙂 I love that base, it’s an awesome base to use for lots of different kinds of cakes.
So, you want the recipe? Here goes.
Delicious chocolate low carb grain-free cake
- 3 egg whites
- 3 egg yolks
- 3.5 ounces of cream cheese
- 2 tbsp Hershey's bakers cocoa
- 1/2 c Land O Lakes Heavy Whipping Cream (0 Carb)
- Sweeten to your liking with your favorite sweetener (used liquid sucralose total about 12 drops)
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- 1 scoop of double chocolate protein powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Preheat oven to 300°
- Start by greasing 2, 6-inch pans (non-stick pans)
- Next start by putting your egg whites in the mixer and mix until stiff peaks.
- While the whites are beating mix all the other ingredients in another bowl until well combined.
- Fold the chocolate mixture into the egg whites and pour half into the first pan and the other half into the second pan.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until you can insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
