Delicious Wings, Salad & Homemade Dressing!
So I am hooked on wings and dropping weight while eating them, you gotta love that! I have a super simple recipe for some delicious spicy or not so spicy wings. That spicy part depends on you.
Ingredients:
Chicken Wings (however many you need.)
garlic powder
onion powder
salt
pepper
cayenne(optional spice)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Prepare pan by placing a thin wired rack over a pan like a 13×9 size one that has some depth to catch the juices from wings, there is a bit. Place the amount of wings you’re going to need on the rack and brush them with some water, if frozen. The reason you would brush with water is so the seasonings stick to the wings. When they are frozen they just bounced off the wings. Sprinkle with seasonings and bake for 1 hour! Check them if not crisp enough turn off the oven and leave them in there checking every so often. I left mine for about 15 more minutes.
They turned out perfect!
My salad is simple and consists of lettuce, onions and occasionally sweetened with splenda gherkins sliced through the salad, with my Homemade Dressing.

Chicken wings is probably my second favorite low carb meal (rib eye steak would be my first). I have experimented with various ways of cooking wings and I love that they are so versatile. They can be pan fried, deep fried, or baked and it’s all good! I like to slather on low carb sauce after they’re cooked and then broil them for a minute or two. Trouble is, I prefer a mild sauce rather one that is heavily spiced or sweet. Next time I cook them I’m going to try swirling them around in garlic butter. Yum! If anybody has suggestions on mild flavored sauce, please pass on. Thanks!
