I got a chance to review Blanched Almond Flour from MorningPep and let me start by saying Amazing! I have used it numerous times now.   One of the most simplest uses for it was when I took I made a mousse like dessert with heavy cream, cream cheese, splenda, a few blueberries and this delicious almond flour.  I placed it under the mousse just about a tablespoon of it as a crust! As I ate it, I was so surprised because it looked like I had cake at the bottom, but it was just almond flour! Super cool!

It’s not really fine ground like a flour is, so it adds a perfect texture to breads or desserts.  I also made a bread, I took the recipe Another Bread Recipe and I subbed out the protein powder for the almond flour and wow! It reminded me of whole grain bread!

I also made pancakes using it the almond flour.  I did my normal recipe for Cream Cheese Pancakes and I added almond flour to them and all I can say is they are so tasty! I was super impressed and I only added a 1/4 cup of almond flour to a double batch of the pancakes!

Another awesome use for the Almond Flour was for a breading on fish or chicken! It worked beautifully! I simply took around a 1/4 cup of almond flour, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and seasonings.  I dipped my fish in egg wash then in almond flour and fried in butter and extra light virgin olive oil!  Turned out Awesome and my husband has asked for it since I made it the first time!

 

If anyone is doing gluten free or low carb this is perfect for them.  I would recommend this to anyone who wants to cut the crap out of your diet!
