My Version of an Italian Grinder!

Ingredients:

3 c mozzarella, shredded
3 eggs
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp italan seasoning
1 scoop Designer Whey Natural Plain Protein Powder

Filling:

Few slices of oblong hard salami, 8 pieces of ultra thin provolone cheese and some turkey breast. Anything you prefer is fine, you can add onions, black olives, veggies whatever you like!

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line an 8×8 square pan with non stick foil, I recommend this 100% so you don’t have to scrap it out of your pan!

Start by breaking eggs into a large mixing bowl and beat slightly add everything except the cheese or fillings. Once you have eggs beat well with other ingredients add all of the cheese to the bowl and stir. Once it’s well combined pack it evenly in the foil lined pan and bake for 20 minutes roughly. It will get golden brown and look darker around the edges. I removed it from oven pulled the foile out and cut it down the center. I added cheese and meat slices and cheese again. I flipped other half on top and baked again for till I could see the cheese was melting.

I topped mine with mayo, mustard and a little Italian dressing!

Delicious!

This could easily serve 6 with a small salad on the side. I could only eat one piece and no salad! Turned out Delicious!

    That’s a good looking version of the grinder right there. I know my husband would be over the moon if I made this for him (and I just might!). 🙂
