Low Carb Chili!

DSCF5132

I decided to come up with my own low carb recipe! So I ground up some beef and the veggies, yep I plopped them all in the meat grinder.  I cooked up the the ground beef and I got this brainiac idea that taco sauce was similar to chili, why not use Taco Bell Hot & Mild Sauces they whole bottle is 0 carbs and everything except a little bit of sodium.  This was a perfect idea and I couldn’t have been more right! I did add some more seasonings like chili powder, cumin and I did add 1.6 oz of tomato paste, plus some water.   This turned out super yummy.

Ingredients:
10.4 oz ground beef
1/2 cup Fresh Frozen Foods Fajita Mix
1 bottle Taco Bell Mild Sauce
1/2 bottle Taco Bell Hot Sauce
1.6 oz tomato paste
1/2 (taco sauce)bottle of water
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt

Directions:
I ground my own beef and I included the veggies in there and cooked it up.  Added the taco sauces, water, tomato paste, and spices.  Stir well put on low and simmer for around 30 minutes.  Stir it occasionally making sure it’s not too hot and sticking or anything.  Once 30 minutes passes its good to serve right then.

This makes 3 servings around 1 cup each.

Let me say that my meal was very filling and delicious!  I couldn’t even finish my chili, but I did eat all my sides.  lol They were so good!
