Low Carb Mozzarella Sticks! #GrainFree #LCHF

I made these delicious #GrainFree #LCHF Mozzarella Sticks and they were freaking amazing!  Do you want to try them too? Here ya go!

Ingredients:

  • 11 mozzarella sticks cut in half
  • 1 package of bacon cooked and dried so no grease remains
  • 3/4 cup almond flour, finely ground (Can sub for Parmesan cheese for less carbs)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tsp hidden valley ranch packet

Directions:

Process bacon in food processor till you get it as fine as your processor will chop(without making mush), then pour in a bowl, add almond flour and all seasonings, well well until looks like coarse bread crumbs. Put eggs in a separate bowl and beat them. put the cheese sticks in the eggs and just coat them. Then dip into the almond flour mixture and coat them. Put them in a dish and freeze them for 4 or more hours. I left them overnight.

heat up 1.25 cup coconut oil in small pan and then cook your cheese sticks about 4 minutes each. Just depends. watch them! You may need more oil. I only cooked 5 so far. This made 22 cheese sticks.
