Salad Dressing!

DSCF6130

I made a delicious salad today and all the dressings had sugar in the ingredients.  As you know I cannot have sugar so I opted to make my own dressing.  It turned out delicious!

For the dressing:
1.5 TBSP mayo
1 TSP white wine vinegar (use any kind of vinegar you like)
1.5 TSP lemon juice
1/16 TSP NuNaturals Reb99 or stevia
1/2 TSP oregano
1/4 TSP basil
1/2 to 1 TSP garlic powder (depends on your taste)
1/2 to 1 TSP onion powder
1/4 TSP ground black pepper

Directions:
Add mayo, lemon juice and vinegar, whisk well until mixed add remaining ingredients and whisk until mixed well, let set and make salad.

For the Salad:
2 cups lettuce (torn to pieces, I use my hands)
2 strips of bacon cooked (I cut the bacon in small pieces before cooking)
1 hard boiled egg
1 TBSP parmesan
1 TBSP flax seed

After tearing my lettuce to pieces I added the dressing to it, mixed well so all the lettuce was covered. I hate lettuce! LOL Then add the bacon, eggs and mix again. I added parmesan and stirred till mixed, plated salad and sprinkled flax seed on top of the meal.

I really hate lettuce, however I was able to tolerate it well and I ate my whole salad like a good girl! So I got my 2 cups of veggies today!!

hope you enjoyed!
